HOURIHANE ON JALO – ‘I HAVE TO KEEP PUSHING HIM’
Conor Hourihane has challenged teenager Fabio Jalo to build on his two-goal performance in Saturday’s 4-1 win over Bolton Wanderers.
The Portugal under 20s international, 19, netted his second and third league goals in his third league start for the club.
Interim head coach Hourihane told the Chronicle: “There is no resting for him, he has to build on it. Ever since I have been at the club, he’s not had a consistent run of games and he’s been unlucky with his shoulder injury.
“He looks in a really good place now. I want to play with wingers, and he’s really effective at this level. He can take people on and he’s explosive but I have to keep pushing him.
"I want him to keep working hard, and the rest of the lads. He will get more starts if he keeps performing like that.”

Posh are currently 16th and six points clear of the relegation zone going into their games against Stockport on Friday then on Monday at Oakwell where they have won on their last three visits.
Barnsley then complete their season at home to Shrewsbury – who could be relegated by then – on April 26, and away at Reading, who are currently sixth, on May 3.
