Ladywood Primary School is an excellent, caring village school that upheld its grading of Good by Ofsted in October 2023. We are now seeking to appoint a dedicated and resilient KS1 teacher to join our team who shares the same nurturing ethos as the rest of the school. The position is fixed term initially due to a potential restructure for September 2025.
The successful candidate will initially be in Year 2 and will need to demonstrate that they have:
· Experience of working with children with special educational needs
· Experience of working with children in KS1 or Early Years
· Experience of supporting children to develop early reading skills
· Good knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum
· The ability to enthuse pupils and develop within them a curiosity and love of learning
· The ability to work on their own initiative and as a member of a team
· A positive, energetic and caring personality
· A good sense of humour
