Conor Hourihane hopes Barnsley can end a tough home season on a mini-good run when they welcome relegated bottom club Shrewsbury Town on Saturday from 3pm.

HOURIHANE PRAISES DEBUTANT DEXTER
Conor Hourihane praised Dexter Lembikisa’s performance on his full Barnsley debut.
The Wolves loanee full-back, 21, had made nine appearances off the bench since signing in February but started the 1-1 home draw with Peterborough on Monday.
Head coach Hourihane told the Chronicle: “I was delighted for him. He’s had to be really patient. Blandy (Jonathan Bland) needed a rest, Corey (O’Keeffe) wasn’t in the squad but I was going to play Dexter anyway because Peterborough have wingers who can dribble. He has physicality and good one on one defending. I thought he was excellent.”

Raith could make the end of season play-offs as they are outside the top four on goal difference with two games to play.
