Wombwell Town bounced back from their first league loss of the season by winning 2-1 at Swallownest on Saturday.
Joshua Nodder and Daniel Youel put Town 2-0 up before a late consolation.
Wombwell are second, six points off leaders Horbury and above third-placed Dearne and District - who have played three extra games - on goal difference.
Dearne won 5-2 at home to Ilkley, having stormed into a 5-0 lead on 47 minutes.
Brandon Burke scored three with Jamie Austin and Justin Circuit also on target.
Worsbrough Bridge won 3-2 at South Leeds on Saturday - a fourth successive victory.
They have 16 points from 13 games so are four points and five places clear of the three-team relegation zone.
They did not win any of their first nine games but have won the last four.
Lewis O’Connor and Lloyd Smith put Bridge 2-0 up at half-time then Keelan Grist netted seconds after the interval.
The hosts pulled two back.
