Worsbrough Bridge stretched their unbeaten run in NCEL Division One to eight games with a 4-1 win at home to bottom club Yorkshire Amateur.
Connor Glavin bagged a brace with Lloyd Smith and Josh Brown also netting. The visitors pulled one back late on.
Having failed to win any of their first nine, Bridge have now won six and drawn two of their last eight games. They are now 12th with 24 points from 17 games.
They are eight points clear of the relegation zone and nine off the play-offs with games in hand on many teams around them.
Dearne and District lost 3-1 at home to Selby Town on Saturday. Jake Phillis put them ahead but the visitors scored twice before the break then added another early in the second half. Justin Circuit was sent off at 2-1.
The result ended a six-match unbeaten run for Dearne. They are still second with 42 points from 21 games - the halfway stage of their first season at this level after coming up from the Central Midlands League.
Athersley Rec lost 2-1 at Swallownest. They trailed 1-0 at half-time then Finley Durkin levelled but the hosts scored the winner two minutes later.
It was a fourth straight loss for Rec who have fallen out of the play-off places down to eighth.
