A BARNSLEY artist has unveiled his latest work for the Barnsley FC Community Trust - an eye-catching mural of Oakwell.

Adam Briscoe, originally from Wombwell but now living in Penistone, has already completed a number of eye-catching murals across the town - including in The Garrison, Penistone Paramount, Parkway Cinema and the Glass Works.

But his latest project has been for the Barnsley FC Community Trust - the club’s charity wing - which supports numerous people across the town.

The mural features Oakwell, Toby Tyke and a number of other ‘easter eggs’ about the club.

Adam said: “Over the past few weeks I’ve been working closely with the team to create a custom piece for the reception area that showcases the incredible impact they have on our community.

“I’m thrilled with how it turned out and I want to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome on site.

“While working with the club, I’ve donated a framed Barnsley FC print which will be signed by the entire team.

“This exclusive piece will be up for sale to raise funds for the trust - an amazing cause.”
