Adam Copley took six for 36 and Jacob Cumming claimed three then carried his bat with 41 not out after Owen Smith hit 47.
The Shaw Laners are now eighth, 27 points clear of the bottom two with seven games left. They are ten points below fifth.
Third-bottom Cawthorne are 19 points clear of the bottom two after a 70-run win at home to Appleby Frodingham.
Cawthorne were 35 for five but posted 187 then Amir Shahzad took four wickets and Danish Aziz three.
Elsecar remain last and are 32 points off safety after a five-wicket loss at Cleethorpes. They were removed for 123.
