Worsbrough Bridge won 4-0 at home to second-bottom Appleby Frodingham on Saturday in NCEL Division One.
They are unbeaten in nine with seven wins and two draws, having not won any of their first nine league games.
They are now 12th with 30 points from 19 games.
All the goals came before half-time, with the first three in the opening 18 minutes.
Lloyd Smith scored two with Keelan Grist and Connor Glavin also on target.
Dearne and District won 3-1 at Shelley on Friday.
Justin Circuit scored in the first minute then, after the hosts levelled, Josh Dacre netted just before the break and Jack Waldron struck in the second half.
Dearne are now second in the table, five off top and six clear of third-placed neighbours Wombwell Town who lost 1-0 at home to Armthorpe Welfare.
That leaves them 11 points behind leaders Horbury Town, who are in the only automatic promotion place but have played two extra games, and five clear in the top five play-off places.
Athersley Rec lost 4-0 at Wakefield on Saturday, a fifth straight defeat.
Penistone Church lost 3-0 at home to fellow Premier Division promotion-chasers Golcar United.
Church now have 34 points from 21 games so are fourth, 11 points off the one automatic promotion and four clear in the top five play-off places.
