Marsden and Stoddart scored for Gawber who have won five out of six.
Barnsley Town won 5-2 at home to Parkgate reserves.
They are second, a point off top.
Wombwell Main lost 2-0 at home to Hemsworth in the Premier Division.
Elsecar Main won 3-2 at Kinsley Boys in the Sheffield Saturday Trophy.
