THURNSCOE flower park will be considerably brighter for many summers to come after new trees were planted.

Thurnscoe flower park in bloom volunteers planted more than 100 saplings from the Woodland Trust.

Local business Lloyd's DIY donated spades so pupils from Gooseacre School could help with them on a community planting day.
