Callum Simpson recorded a 17th successive professional win on Saturday night.
The Barnsley man gained a fifth-round stoppage win over Elvis Ahorgah from Ghana at the Wembley Arena in London to retain the super middleweight Commonwealth title.
Simpson was on top throughout before flooring his opponent in the fifth round, for a second win in three weeks.
After the fight he announced that a date has been agreed between his promoters and Barnsley FC for another fight in the summer. His promoter Ben Shalom said they would look to sell 25,000 tickets.
