THEY promised and they have delivered.
Upon winning the competition to find Barnsley’s Best Garden in the summer the residents of Ardsley Mews pledged to transform the garden into a winter wonderland at Christmas.
Festive lighting has now helped enhance the community garden at Ardsley, which all the residents work on.
It has taken on a completely new look for the most magical time of the year.
The flowerbeds now lay pretty dormant but the lighting and Victorian appearance ensure a welcoming vibe in their courtyard space.
One of the residents, Chrissy Kyte, said: “As ever on the Mews, what we do, we do as a communal project. We all put up tasteful lights in our own individual styles outside of our homes and it makes for a great festive look.”
