A MONK Bretton DJ is set to achieve his dream later this year when he performs in Ibiza.

Marc Moran, 39, started to DJ when he turned 19 and having performed at some of the biggest clubs and venues in the country, he’s set to realise his dream this summer.

He will be taking his ‘All Night At My House’ set to play alongside Dam2Glam at their summer-long residency at Plastik in Ibiza, alongside DJs Greg Myers and James Wormersley.

Marc told the Chronicle: “I was taught how to DJ by Andy Spoff - he’s a bit of a local legend and I wouldn’t have been where I am without him.

“He used to live across from me.

“I started going with him wherever he was playing.

“I had my first gig at the KVC and it all stemmed from there.

“I’ve played at Tempo, Citrus Rooms - all over really.

“I now run my own night at Soho Social and my next event there is on February 8 where Greg and James will be coming over to headline alongside me.

Marc was the resident DJ at popular venues Soviet and Fibre in Leeds and he admits travelling out to Ibiza this summer will be a dream come true.

“It’s unreal,” he added.

“I can’t believe it.

"With Dam2Glam now a successful house music night across the UK and its Ibiza residency, it's a huge privilege to be able to work alongside them

“It’s what I’ve always worked for - it’s a dream come true.”
