Third-placed Wombwell Town won 4-1 at home to Yorkshire Amateur on Saturday.

The visitors took the lead but Joshua Nodder scored twice with Jordan Kershaw and Jack Dando also on target.

Worsbrough Bridge won 3-0 at home to Swallownest.

Jake Squires, Lewis O’Connor and Owen Birks netted.

They are now 15th with 19 points from 14 games.

After not winning any of their first nine league games, they have won five in a row.

Second-placed Dearne and District won 5-2 at home to fellow high-flyers Maltby Main on Friday night.

Jamie Austin hit a hat-trick with Justin Circuit and Bayley Lowe also on target.

That left them second with 41 points from 19 games.

Athersley Rec won 4-0 at home to Shelley on Friday night.

Sam Thompson and Charlie Auty put them 2-0 up on ten minutes then Auty and Nathan Perks scored early in the second half. Rec are fourth.
