Wombwell Town recorded a remarkable 9-1 win at Dronfield Town in NCEL Division One.
Jordan Kershaw scored a hat-trick and there was an own goal, with the other scorers being Jason Paling, Charlie Rogerson, Jack Dando, Owen Sykes – with a penalty – and Daniel Youel.
Town are second in the table with 48 points from 22 games.
They are five clear in the play-off places and 11 behind Horbury who are in the only automatic promotion place and have played three more games but suffered a second successive defeat.
