Three Barnsley clubs won in NCEL Division on Tuesday evening.

Wombwell Town won 4-1 at home to Ilkley Town, making it two victories from as many games in the first week of the season.

Gavin Allott scored a hat-trick in the first half, which they finished 3-1 ahead, then Jack Dando netted another in the second half.

Dearne and District won 4-2 at Dronfield Town – their first ever victory at the level.

Joshua Dacre and Phillips put them 2-0 up midway through the first half. Dronfield levelled with goals either side of half-time but Shay Evans-Booth and Jake Phillips netted within minutes of each other midway through the second half to secure the win.

Athersley Rec won 3-0 at Yorkshire Amateur. Callum Clarke, Alfie Bakes and Jordan Good got the goals.
