Cawthorne skittled Barnsley Woolley Miners for 74 in an eight-wicket Yorkshire Premier South win.
Pakistan international Danish Aziz took five for 14 from 14 overs as the Shaw Laners made 74 in 42 overs.
Cawthorne were bowled out for 51 chasing 115 against Woodhouse Grange in a Twenty20 Heavy Woollen Cup game on Thursday. Aziz took three for 14 off four overs but no one scored double figures with the bat.
Winless bottom club Elsecar fell 44 runs short chasing Appleby Frodingham’s 240.
Joe Denby took four wickets then Tanzeel Ali hit 50.
