YOU’VE heard of Tour de France but what about Tour de Co-op?
Staff from stores in Barnsley took on a charity trek of Co-operative stores in the borough on Saturday to raise cash for the British Red Cross.
About 25 staff walked 15 miles from the Mapplewell branch to stores in Athersley, Royston, Newmillerdam and Darton before returning to Mapplewell.
Many were in fancy dress, donning onesies and fairy suits, while others opted for something red in a nod to the chosen charity for which they raised about £3,000.
