Silkstone United won 2-1 at home to Wombwell Main and overtook them as the top Barnsley side in the County Senior Premier Division.
Silkstone are now sixth, a point clear of Wombwell, with both having nine games left.
Barnsley Town lost 3-1 at home to lowly Swinton reserves in Division One.
They remain third but have lost their last three games.
There were 8-1 wins in Division Two for both Elsecar Main at Youdan and Royston at Dronfield.
There were doubles for Royston’s Sam Muxlow, Matthew Roberts and Connor Rushforth with James Gillespie and Josh Lovell also netting.
