BARNSLEY Premier Leisure has been named a winner at the National Fitness Awards.
The community leisure trust won the Best Membership Campaign category at the ceremony, held in Leicester.
BPL’s marketing team was recognised for the success of a digitally-focused membership campaign, created to appeal to a specific demographic of 25 to 35-year-old females.
The aim of the campaign was to focus on positive member experiences and move away from ‘macho’ stereotypes around people you may find in a gym.
Head of marketing and branding at BPL, Rachel Rinkcavage, said: “We’re always looking to stretch boundaries and reach new audiences by being brave and different when it comes to our marketing.
“After also picking up this award in 2022, to be crowned the winner in this category for a second time in such a competitive industry is brilliant.
“I’m so proud of the team for their continued hard work.”
