THE Better Barnsley plans to redevelop the town centre are moving forward at a significant pace with a lot of work planned between now and Christmas.
The May Day Green Market building, where semi-open market traders will relocate to, is progressing well.
The cladding material deliveries will start next week with the exterior of the building being completed in July.
De Boers will then hand the site over to Henry Boot Construction who will start work on the internal fit out of the building and the external works to the footpaths and service yard.
This will be finished at the end of August.
