IF EVER there was an example that dedication and hard work pays off then you need look no further than Megan Bridge.
Every week Megan, 13, from Burton Bank Road, Monk Bretton spends an average 22 hours in the gym working hard to perfect her routines. And she's been doing it since she was five years old.
And it certainly worked as Megan has now qualified for next year's British Championships after scoring a massive point score of 61.400 to win the British Compulsory 1 out of age Championship in Ipswich.
It's a fitting reward for Megan whose potential was first spotted by Barnsley Gymnastics Club coach Jose Manuel Gonzalez Iglesias. She now trains at Gymmagic in Leeds where she is coached by Sharon Gott.
