Barnsley goalkeeper Jackson Smith has joined League Two Grimsby Town on a seven-day emergency loan.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper joined on a four-year deal this summer after leaving Walsall but has been third choice behind Gaga Slonina and Ben Killip.
Grimsby – whose two senior goalkeepers are injured so they had to bring a teenager off the bench on Saturday – visit leaders Gillingham tonight.
