DARTS player Brian 'Doggie' Dawson is coming back to reality after his dogged attempt to become world champion.
The 46-year-old from Thurnscoe works as a courier but made it to the BDO World Championships at Lakeside after finding terrific form last year to qualify for the prestigious event.
It was the first time Brian has featured on English TV with the BBC and BT Sport both covering the event and Brian is now getting recognised more on his rounds.
His performances bumped him up to 15 in the world rankings and he wants to keep the momentum going but in the meantime will keep playing for the Keel Inn on Canal Street in the Tuesday night league.
