ATHERSLEY Rec came from 3-1 down on 84 minutes to win in midweek which secured their safety in NCEL Division One.
Rec had taken a point from their previous ten games since December but won 3-1 at Shelley on Friday then 4-3 at Glasshoughton on Tuesday.
In midweek, they trailed 3-1 – with Jimmy Pursell scoring their goal – but James Byford, Nathan Perks and Aston Dunstan netted in a remarkable late turnaround.
That left them 16th and 14 points clear of the relegation so they can no longer finish in the bottom three.
