ARTWORK dedicated to recognising the history and heritage of Worsbrough Mill is set to be unveiled later this month.
The new mural, created by artist Adam Briscoe, aims to show a visual representation of the mill’s history and how the site looks today.
The Barnsley-based artist specialises in hand-drawn architectural art and has risen in popularity over the last 12 months.
Adam’s previous works include a mural revealed last year at The Glass Works, which celebrates the past and present of Barnsley.
It will be unveiled on Saturday, January 25.
Coun Robin Franklin, cabinet spokesperson for regeneration and culture, said: “We are excited to be working with a talented artist to celebrate Worsbrough Mill’s rich history.
“Adam’s career has gone from strength to strength, with his stunning artworks surprising and delighting those lucky to see them.
“This collaboration is one of many success stories where Barnsley Museums have collaborated closely with local artists to highlight the borough’s heritage.”
