BARNSLEY Schoolboys under 15s were crowned league champions for the second successive year without kicking a ball.
They did not play but results elsewhere handed them the league title.

Wath Victoria, playing in their first Totty Cup final since 1931, lost to Mexborough St Johns 3-0.
Goldthorpe won 3-0 over Bolton Lacewood in the Barlow-Salmons Trophy. It was their first trophy win of the century.
In the Gordon Swann Cup final, Wath Our Lady and St Joseph’s won 6-2 over Bolton Carrfield.
There was a hat-trick from Our Lady’s George Phillis and a brace by Jenson Patton. Carrfield’s goals were scored by Harris Vickers and Sid Swift.
Thurnscoe Hill were beaten 4-2 in the Brian Hyde Cup final by Kilnhurst after extra-time.
Penistone Church under 14s Blacks girls were beaten 2-1 by North Gawber.
