Barnsley’s home game with Reading on October 12 could potentially be called off due to international call-ups.

If a club has three senior players called up for international duty, they can choose to postpone their game.

The Royals have several international players and postponed a match earlier this month in the last international break.

New Zealand’s Tyler Bindon, Jamaica’s Coniah Boyce-Clarke, Malta’s Basil Tuma and Wales’ Charlie Savage are among those likely to be called up in the coming days.

As for Barnsley, Jon Russell may be selected for Jamaica like in the last international break, when Gabriel Slonina was in the initial USA squad before missing out.

Fabio Jalo – who is currently a doubt with shoulder problem – and Vimal Yoganathan have been involved with Portugal and Wales respectively at under 19 level.
