BARNSLEY woman and Lioness Bethany England is due to start a new season on Sunday.

The Kingstone woman, 30, plays for Tottenham Hotspur who host Crystal Palace from 2pm at Leyton Orient’s Brisbane Road. England has 74 goals in the WSL, four behind the league’s all-time top-scorer Vivianne Miedema who has moved from Arsenal to Manchester City this summer. She has been plagued by injuries in recent years and has been left out of recent England squads, having played 26 games for the Lionesses including a World Cup final.

She spent the last two seasons at Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic.
