Barnsley look set to announce the signing of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Matthew Craig on loan.
The 21-year-old, who has played once for Spurs in the Premier League, captained their under 21s and spent the second half of last season at League Two Doncaster Rovers.
The Scotland youth international made 20 appearances for Donny, scoring once, and helped them surge up from a League Two relegation fight to the play-offs in which they lost to Crewe.
Craig has been due to join Barnsley on their pre-season training camp at Loughborough University this week.
