A CLASS act has stepped in to save a show at the Lamproom Theatre.
Janine Dyer, from Penistone, has taken on the part of Deloris Van Cartier in the Lamproom Musical Theatre Company’s production of Sister Act: The Musical after the lead dropped out - just three weeks before the show is set to go on.
And for Janine, who recently turned her vocal talents to competing on The Voice UK and runs two community choirs in Yorkshire, this will be her musical theatre debut - taking on the part made famous by Whoopi Goldberg in the hit 1992 film.
