MORE footballers in Barnsley will be playing the beautiful game on a beautiful surface from next week.
5ives community sports club has been awarded funds to upgrade the old football pitches with a new hybrid third generation playing surface.
The pitches are being installed in Kendray after 5ives was successful in a bid for almost £135,000 of National Lottery funding from Sport England.
