RENOWNED Barnsley author Milly Johnson says she’s ‘over the moon’ after a national firm picked up the rights to three new novels.
Simon and Schuster UK - who Milly has worked with since the beginning of her publishing journey - swooped into acquire her work.
Adult fiction publishing director Clare Hey acquired rights to the Christmas novel Let The Bells Ring Out, which will publish in October in hardback, and two more romances, which will follow for Mother’s Day 2026 and 2027.
Milly, a celebrated and award-winning author with more than 20 novels under her belt, said: “I am over the moon to have signed up, yet again, with my publishing family.
“I’ve been with them from the very beginning and I’ve always felt that with them I have the best of the best behind me, doing what they do so expertly to propel me forward.
“They are my home.”
Clare added: “Milly’s novels speak to millions of women and she is the absolute master of making the ordinary extraordinary.
