BARNSLEY Football Club’s charitable arm are asking for donations of football kit for locals in need.
The Barnsley FC Community Trust regularly host donation drives to support residents across the town.
Most recently they partnered with The Rucksack Project to support the charity who help homeless people and rough sleepers across the borough.
The latest project is asking for donations of football kit.
A spokesperson for the trust said: “We’re launching a sports kit donation drive to support aspiring footballers in need.
“Donate your football boots, t-shirts, and shorts and help young athletes step onto the field with confidence.
“Every donation makes a difference.”
Anyone who wants to take part can drop-off donations at the club’s indoor training centre on Grove Street from 9am to 5pm on weekdays.
