SOME of the biggest names in snooker’s history are due at the Metrodome next week.

The Welsh Open qualifiers are due to take place from Tuesday to Thursday, behind closed doors.

While many of the current top seeds will be playing in a different tournament in Leicester, former world champions Ken Doherty and Graeme Dott are due to be in Barnsley.

Other famous names on the schedule are former world championship finalists Jimmy White and Matthew Stevens.
