ADAM Phillips is back in training and could feature at Blackpool on Saturday.
Phillips, the Reds’ top-scorer this season with five from midfield, has missed the last three games with a toe problem.
Head coach Darrell Clarke said: “He has been doing some training. It’s nice to have him back on the grass. It’s been a frustrating injury and we will see how things develop.”
Meanwhile, another midfielder Josh Benson limped out of Barnsley’s EFL Trophy game at Huddersfield Town on Tuesday of last week with a slight hamstring strain. He is expected to be out for two weeks.
Striker Max Watters has missed the last five matches with injury.
