Barnsley Women’s FC made it back-to-back wins with a 3-2 success at Sutton Coldfield Town on Sunday in Division One Midlands.
After Anita Gaspar’s opener was cancelled out, Laura Bartup and Daniela Kraycheva put the Reds 3-1 up before a late consolation.
Manager Craig Richardson said: “We were stronger, quicker and sharper then dug in towards the end.
“We have got some firepower but it’s a matter of it clicking. It did in this game.
“Daniela is a small lass but leapt like a salmon to head in the winner.”
Dearne and District won 4-0 at Marlborough in Division Three of the Sheffield and Hallamshire League.
Sophie Vickers bagged a brace with Stephanie Marsden and Stephanie Marsland on target.
Mind Over Matter beat Dronfield 3-2.
Ellie Martin, Jodie Stokes and Stephanie Simpson struck.
Pogmoor lost 3-1 at SJR Worksop.
Wombwell Town won 4-1 at Frickley Athletic in Division Four. Jo Marfleet scored twice with Jenna-Lea Portress and Megan Reece also on target.
Penistone Church lost 6-1 at home to Rotherham United in Division One.
Wath Stars drew 2-2 at Sheffield Wednesday reserves in Division Two.
