HOYLANDSWAINE got a narrow win at Almondbury Wesleyan with Ben Kohler-Cadmore scoring 74.
Almondbury had scored 181 for eight and would have felt they had a sniff of victory after dismissing nine Hoylandswaine batters.
But last man U Yaqoob scored an unbeaten 11 to get them over the line.
Hoylandswaine’s 2nd XI won by four wickets against Cumberworth United.
They had bowled their visitors out for 164.
A knock of 47 from J Lockwood and an unbeaten 30 from F Irfan ensured the win.
