HARRY Airstone starred as Green Moor dismissed Adwick-le-Street for 85 in a ten-wicket win in Division Seven of the South Yorkshire League.

Airstone took three for 18 off ten overs then carried his bat with 58 not out off 54 balls, including 11 fours.

Darfield beat Rotherham Town by two wickets chasing 194 in Division One.

Alex Keeton and Joe Stickland took three wickets then Matt Lambert scored 79. Darfield are top by 14 points, with six wins from seven games so far this season.

Monk Bretton won by eight runs at Treeton 2nd XI in Division Two.

The Monks were 77 for five but made 234 after Jaspreet Singh hit 58 off 41 balls with six fours and fives sixes then Steven Hoenyman finished with 60.

Scott Latimer then took four wickets, including two in the last over from which Treeton needed 11 to win but scored only three. The Monks are second in the early league table.

Third-placed Penistone recovered from 67 for five to chase 129 at Hallam 2nd XI with no further loss. Chris Matthewman and Matt Scholey took three wickets.

Wath 2nd XI fell 20 runs short chasing 147 at Hatfield Town. Mark Barlow took five wickets.

Worsbrough Bridge won by six runs at Millhouses Works in Division Three. Mark Wilkinson top-scored with 52 in Bridge’s 164 then took three wickets.

Leaders Higham won by three wickets at Norton Woodseats, chasing 151. Kyle Clayton took four wickets and Alex Morris three.

Bottom club Kexborough were dismissed for 72 in a ten-wicket loss at home to Caribbean Sports.

Cawthorne 2nd XI made 270 then dismissed Barnsley Woolley Miners 3rd XI for 81. Nicholas Lowe hit 61 then Lewis Skelly added 52 not out, before Charlie Parkin took four wickets.

Wombwell Main bowled Conisbrough out for 93 but were then skittled for 73 in Division Three. Richard Wilkinson took four wickets and Tom Peck three.
