STRICTLY Come Dancing stars JB Gill and Lauren Oakley made a surprise visit to a local dance studio this week ahead of their big show tomorrow.
The fan-favourite pair made a special trip to Peachy Dance Studios in Darton on Monday and Tuesday to learn their new routine ahead of the live show.
Manager of the dance studio, Emma Ledger, told the Chronicle: “Last week we received a call from an unknown number and it was someone asking if we rented out our space for rehearsals.
“I asked if it was for a project and they said they were from the BBC and it was for Strictly.
“It was unbelievable.”
Emma continued to talk with producers over the weekend and following the results of last Saturday’s show - where the former JLS star and his professional partner survived elimination - they confirmed they would need the space and who would be using it.
“The kids couldn’t believe it as we kept it a surprise,” Emma added.
“A lot of the mums were over the moon cause they’re all JLS fans - honestly I think some parents were more pleased than the students.
“They were so kind throughout.”
