Barnsley Woolley Miners gained their first league win of the season with a seven-wicket success at Wakefield Thornes.
Owen Smith made 82 with seven fours and four sixes while Ciaran Stenton added 51 in Barnsley’s 234. The hosts made 227 for eight.
Cawthorne won by 46 runs at Appleby Frodingham.
Danish Aziz made 56 in Cawthorne’s 190 then Ben Cliff took four wickets and Thomas Jones three.
Elsecar’s Samarpit Joshi made 111 not out but they lost by five wickets at home to Cleethorpes.
Joshi hit ten fours and four sixes in Elsecar’s 214.
They are yet to win in the league this season.
