They are third with 37 points from 18 games, and four to play.
They are seven points behind second-placed Sheffield City who have only one game left and nine off leaders Dronfield who play twice more.
Meanwhile, Elite AFC won 4-2 at home to Woodhouse Colts in the Central Midlands League.
Robbie Wood scored twice with Tommy Pallett and Sammy Ammisah also on target.
They are fifth with 35 points from 21 games.
All the Barnsley teams in the NCEL saw their games called off.
