MEMBERS of the gym attended by the father of little Ebonie Webb have raised money in her name.
Ebonie died in April last year aged seven, after being diagnosed with a brain tumour when she was just six months old.
Her dad Michael, 36, joined the CrossFit gym in Wakefield to help him cope following Ebonie’s death.
He said: “When the members found out about what had happened, they decided to do a competition and all the members joined in and did something - it was very similar to the Insanity work out.
“Unfortunately I wasn’t there, but about 30 or 40 people took part and raised £350 which will go into Ebonie’s charity.
“What we’re trying to do is work with kids with cancer in the local area and I’m hoping to help others in a similar situation.”
