THIS is the latest computer generated image of the new Barnsley library.
The updated futuristic design has taken into account feedback gathered since the initial design was first revealed in January.
The new building is set to be a landmark in the centre's £50 million redevelopment and is expected to open in early 2017.
The aim is for the library to have opaque windows that emits light to illuminate the new public square outside.
