A killer who stabbed a man to death has been jailed.

 

Gary McKeown, 37, of Church Street, Thurnscoe, had been on trial for murdering Philip Alan Smith, 36, of Stotfold Drive, Thurnscoe, but the hearing at Sheffield Crown Court was halted when he admitted manslaughter.

 

McKeown was given a six year sentence and was told he will serve half.
