A KEEN local photographer has donated two more prints to the Barnsley Hospital Charity in a bid to raise vital funds for a worthwhile cause.
Darren Green, 52, from the town centre, said he has always had a camera in his hand.
In the past, he has donated some of his wildlife photograph prints to the charity to help raise some money for the service - and he donated two more this week.
He told the Chronicle: “I’m a very keen wildlife photographer.
“I’ve been creating the prints and then donating them to Barnsley Hospital Charity who auction them off to raise some money.
“The last one managed to raise £100.
“I think that it’s a real worthwhile cause.
“I’ve had a camera in my hands on and off since being a kid but I’ve been a serious photographer for the last five years.
“I pride myself on not being a member of any club and I am self-taught.
“I’ve got two new prints which I’ve donated to the charity.
“I just want to raise as much as possible.”
