MATTHEW Craig has been recalled by Tottenham Hotspur following his loan spell at Oakwell.
The 21-year-old arrived at the club in the summer and was a mainstay in the team at the start of the season.
However he has only made two appearances for the club since November and has not been involved in a matchday squad this year.
It’s reported that Spurs will send him back out loan, with play-off rivals Mansfield Town and his former club Doncaster Rovers interested in his services.
Head coach Darrell Clarke said: "I can't speak highly enough of the lad.
"He's a great professional and I think he's going to have a great career.
"With Luca and Kelechi coming in now the six position is pretty tough on the lads trying to get ahead of them two.
"We'd like to thanks Spurs, we enjoyed having him."
