BARNSLEY defender Oliver Wilkinson started for England under 16s against Italy on Tuesday.
The 15-year-old, who became the club’s youngest starter when he appeared in the EFL Trophy last week, scored the second goal in a 3-2 win.
Meanwhile, Barnsley under 18s won 2-0 at home to Bournemouth with goals by Luke Alker and Kieran Graham. They secured their first points and goals of the season having lost the first two games.
They then won 5-0 at Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday and visit Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Barnsley under 21s drew 0-0 at Swansea City on Monday. They are now due to host Bristol City on Tuesday from 2pm on Tuesday.
