JOSH Abson made 99 not out and Ethan Sefton took six wickets in Stainborough’s win at Thurnscoe in Division One of the Pontefract League.
Abson hit ten fours and six sixes with Andy Beck adding 53 then Sefton claimed six for 56 and Abson three for 14 off seven overs.
Michael Harvey took three wickets for Thurnscoe who then fell 47 runs short chasing 233.
West Bretton were dismissed for 177 in a two-wicket home loss to Garforth in the Premier Division. Tom Clifford made 55 then Mo Zacky and Chris Reece took three wickets each.
Darton were removed for 64 chasing 208 at home to South Kirkby in the Championship. Jordan Hunter took four wickets and Sam Hawley three.
Notton Challengers lost by five wickets at Sykehouse in Division Three. Misbah Syed made 57 in Notton’s 153.
Ryhill and Havercroft won by nine runs at home to Pledwick 2nd XI in Division Four.
Ryhill posted 162 before Luke Speight and Jake Vale took three wickets each.
In Division Four, Karl Matthews carried his bat with 82 not out but West Bretton 2nd XI’s 200 was not enough in a seven-wicket loss at Hemsworth 2nd XI.
