LASITH Lakshan scored an unbeaten 206 off 139 balls as Rockingham defeated Houghton Main.

Sri Lankan Lakshan hit 27 fours and seven sixes, sharing a stand of 258 with Harry Grindle who scored 103.

Rockingham posted 335 for two off their 50 overs then bowled bottom side Houghton out for 122 with Peter Lomas taking six wickets.

Third-bottom Wath won by eight runs at Doncaster 2nd XI. Hayden Byrne (69) led Wath to 206 then Michael Bates took five wickets and Alex Roebuck three.

Wath remain five points clear of second-bottom Barnsley Woolley Miners 2nd XI who won by a run at home to Whiston.

The Shaw Laners defended 172 as William Nicholson took five wickets. Whiston lost their last five wickets for eight runs.
